Alright, so the Twilight books are suddenly the next big thing. I mean, I read Twilight in 2006, and they're just getting big now? Thats weird. But anyways, I don't understand why they are so big. There are a million things wrong with Bella and Edward's relationship. And yet, I still read the others and am going to the midnight release of Breaking Dawn, not mentioning all the fansites and fanart and everything else in the Twilight fandom I do. Why? Thats the thing, I don't know. So I've decided just to accept the fact I don't know why. Yay! Thats sort of the purpose of this. Despite all the problems, I still read the books.

To elaborate on the problems with their relationship, not only is it the problem with him being a vampire and her being a human, thats easily fixed with a bite. Its the way Edward is so controlling. And Bella is so accepting of him running her life. I mean, really. Abusive boyfriend, anyone? And yet, even though I see this in every little thing while reading the books, I'm still obsessed with the books. I think aliens are controlling my mind...

You can use the avvie if you want, it would be nice if you credit me though.

True true. You can't change it, so might as well go with it. :D

Yes it's true the book did just suddenly begin to get popular....maybe it's because they're making the movie *ponders*

Before you critize someone walk a mile in their shoes, this way, your a mile away from them and you have their shoes.

Look, there is more than one reason that it is called a FANTACY!!!!! Besides, I LOVED IT!!! Plus, not everyone read it when it came out, it's become popular now because more and more people have recomeded it to other people to the point were almost everyone has read it and LOVED it, like ME!!! ^^ I am not saying that you should love it, I am just giving you explenations. ^^

Well, for me being fantasy doesn't mean that relationships that would otherwise be viewed as... problematic... are suddenly fine. But that’s my opinion. My friends all say that I'm just not romantic (we got into an argument today on whether or not it was freaky for a guy to watch you sleeo without you knowing, and they said it was fine as long as you liked the guy. wtf?). As for it becoming popular... I guess the time for it to spread by word of mouth might account for it, but it just seems like a long time. I read it when it first came out through my book club, and that feels like forever ago. But I know there are plenty of people who now love the books, and I respect that. Maybe its just not my type of book.
